By using SmartPlanConsult.ca's services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking a consultation.
1. Service Description
SmartPlanConsult.ca provides paid advisory and consultancy services for Canadian telecommunications plans, including:
- Mobile/cellular plan analysis and recommendations
- Home internet package comparisons and advice
- Cable TV service recommendations
- Home phone plan guidance
- Security camera system suggestions
- Telecom bill review and optimization
2. Service Limitations - What We DON'T Provide
SmartPlanConsult.ca is a consultancy service only. We do NOT provide:
- Technical Support: We cannot troubleshoot internet connectivity, device issues, or service outages
- Device Repairs: We do not repair phones, routers, modems, or any hardware
- Installation Services: We do not install equipment or perform on-site visits
- Direct Enrollment: We do not sign you up for services or act as a sales agent for providers
- Customer Service: We are not affiliated with telecom providers and cannot handle their billing, complaints, or service issues
- Warranty Claims: We cannot process warranty or insurance claims for devices
- Account Management: We cannot access or modify your accounts with telecom providers
3. Independence Declaration
SmartPlanConsult.ca is completely independent and NOT affiliated with any Canadian telecom provider including but not limited to:
- Rogers Communications
- Bell Canada
- Telus Corporation
- Shaw Communications / Rogers
- Freedom Mobile
- Fido, Virgin Mobile, Koodo Mobile
- Videotron
- Any other telecommunications or internet service provider in Canada
We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any compensation from telecom providers. Our only income is from consultation fees paid by clients.
4. Consultation Fees
Consultations start at $49 CAD. The exact fee will be communicated before service is provided. Fees are:
- Due at the time of booking or before the consultation begins
- Non-refundable once the consultation has been provided (see Refund Policy)
- Subject to applicable taxes
5. No Guarantees
While we strive to provide accurate and helpful recommendations:
- We cannot guarantee specific savings amounts
- We cannot guarantee that recommended plans will be available when you contact providers
- Provider pricing, terms, and availability may change without notice
- Promotional offers may have eligibility requirements we are not aware of
- Your credit check or account history with providers may affect your eligibility
6. User Responsibility
As a client, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your current plans and needs
- Contacting providers directly to confirm plan details, pricing, and availability
- Reading all terms and conditions from providers before signing contracts
- Understanding contract lengths, cancellation fees, and early termination penalties
- Making your own final decision about which plans to choose
- Any decisions you make based on our recommendations
7. Limitation of Liability
SmartPlanConsult.ca and its owners/operators are NOT liable for:
- Changes in provider pricing or terms after our recommendations
- Billing errors or disputes with telecom providers
- Service quality issues with providers
- Cancellation fees or penalties imposed by providers
- Any losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our recommendations
- Inaccurate information provided by telecom providers
8. Intellectual Property
All content on SmartPlanConsult.ca, including text, graphics, logos, and recommendations, is the property of SmartPlanConsult.ca and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Changes to Services
We reserve the right to:
- Modify our service offerings at any time
- Change consultation fees with notice
- Refuse service to anyone for any legal reason
- Update these Terms and Conditions (changes will be posted with a new effective date)
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which our business operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
