Understanding Our Service
SmartPlanConsult.ca provides advisory services. Once a consultation has been completed and recommendations have been provided, the service has been delivered. Therefore, consultation fees are generally non-refundable after service delivery.
When Refunds ARE Available
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Pre-Consultation Cancellation: If you cancel your consultation request BEFORE the consultation takes place, you are eligible for a full refund
- Service Not Provided: If we are unable to provide the consultation service as agreed due to circumstances on our end
- Billing Error: If there was an error in billing (overcharge, duplicate charge, etc.)
- Technical Issues: If technical problems on our end prevented the consultation from occurring
Cancellation Window
To receive a full refund, you must:
- Contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled consultation
- Call us at 1-888-740-9186 during business hours
- Provide your booking reference or contact information
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the consultation may be subject to a cancellation fee.
When Refunds Are NOT Available
No refunds will be issued for:
- Completed Consultations: Once the consultation has been provided and recommendations given, the service is considered complete
- Dissatisfaction with Provider Plans: We have no control over provider offerings, pricing, or policies
- Changes in Provider Pricing: If providers change their prices after our recommendations
- Your Decision Not to Act: If you choose not to follow our recommendations or switch plans
- Provider Eligibility Issues: If you're not eligible for a recommended plan due to credit checks or other provider requirements
- Unavailable Promotions: If promotional offers mentioned during consultation expire or become unavailable
- Dissatisfaction with Savings: If actual savings differ from estimates (many factors beyond our control affect final pricing)
- Buyer's Remorse: Simply changing your mind after receiving the consultation
Refund Process
If you believe you qualify for a refund:
- Contact us by phone at 1-888-740-9186 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM EST)
- Provide your booking information and reason for the refund request
- Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days
- If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method
Partial Refunds
In rare cases, partial refunds may be offered at our discretion, such as:
- If the consultation was significantly shorter than agreed
- If only partial recommendations could be provided due to unforeseen circumstances
- As a goodwill gesture for service issues that don't qualify for a full refund
Disputed Charges
If you see a charge from SmartPlanConsult.ca that you don't recognize:
- Please contact us FIRST at 1-888-740-9186 before disputing with your credit card company
- We can quickly resolve most billing questions and unauthorized charges
- Chargebacks can result in additional fees and delays
Important Notes
- Refunds are only available for consultation fees paid to SmartPlanConsult.ca
- We cannot refund or be responsible for fees paid to telecom providers
- Refunds do not include any charges from your bank or payment processor
- This policy applies to all services offered by SmartPlanConsult.ca

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your transaction.
